Course Description
The M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) was established in 2010 with the objective of producing highly skilled postgraduates capable of addressing complex challenges in computing and information technology. The program is designed to provide advanced theoretical knowledge combined with strong research and practical orientation.
The curriculum emphasizes emerging and core areas such as advanced algorithms, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and software engineering, enabling students to gain both depth and breadth in modern computing technologies. Equal importance is given to research, innovation, and industry-oriented projects, preparing graduates for careers in academia, research organizations, and high-end industry roles.
With experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories, research-driven teaching, and a focus on outcome-based education, the M.Tech (CSE) program at KIET has consistently contributed to academic excellence, quality research publications, and professional growth of its students since its inception.
