Overview
The Department of International Relations and Public Relations at KIET Engineering College is a pivotal arm of the institution dedicated to fostering effective communication, building strategic partnerships, and cultivating a global perspective within the KIET community. It was established in 2021 to assist and serve KIET Group of Institutions by communicating and collaborating with stakeholders and individuals from other areas.
The Department of International Relations is popular among students as a vital component in the education and development of students, equipping them with the skills, perspectives, and connections needed to succeed in a globalized world. The international collaborations and initiatives offered by the department are instrumental in shaping students into well-rounded, culturally-aware individuals. By partnering with universities and institutions worldwide, KIET opens doors for students to experience different academic environments and gain unique insights into their fields of study. Organizing international activities like International Education Awareness week, signing MOU with International Universities, International internships, Foreign Language courses and many such events fosters cultural exchange and language proficiency, which are invaluable skills in an increasingly interconnected world.The emphasis on maintaining high educational standards through strategic alliances with foreign universities ensures that KIET students receive a top-notch education that is on par with global standards. The Department of Public Relations role is to create and implement communication strategies that inform the public, clients, staff, investors, and significant individuals about the institute’s beliefs, objectives, and accomplishments. KIET- PR Department plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing its reputation, establishing strong relationships with significant stakeholders, strategically communicating key messages, and ensuring a positive and influential presence in the community and media. The department monitors public opinion, identifies potential problems or crises, and takes appropriate measures to mitigate any negative impact by building a promising reputation through transparent and truthful communication. This is essential as it encourages community participation by attending events, supporting social causes, and establishing relationships with community leaders and Organizations.

- We are boundlessly motivated to imprint KIET’s flag on the national and international arena and to create awareness about various programs available after the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at both levels.
- Our vision is to elevate the institute’s global engagement to world-class standards and establish a setup to develop strong and sustainable international partnerships with research laboratories, academic institutions, industries and entrepreneurs in order to meet the aspirations of our faculty and student communities.
HOD's Message ,
The Department of PR & International Relations at KIET works to enhance the institution’s visibility and credibility locally and globally. It drives outreach and brand visibility campaigns, such as school connect, media relations, sponsorships, ranking and award nominations along with various brand building activities. The department also manages strategic collaborations with international academic institutions to promote student exchanges, internships, cross-cultural engagement, international student recruitment, positioning KIET as a hub of innovation, knowledge, and excellence

Public Relations
The Department of Public Relations was established in June 2019 with the purpose to serve and support KIET Group of Institutions by communicating & collaborating with our stakeholders and the outside world.
Mission of the PR Department
- Manage and enrich the institute's reputation, build strong relationships with stakeholders, strategically communicate key messages, and ensure a positive and influential presence in the community and the media.
- Safeguard and strengthen the institute's relationships by monitoring public opinion, identifying potential issues or crises, and implementing proactive strategies to mitigate any negative impact by cultivating a positive image through consistent and transparent communication.
- Connect with the community, participating in community events, supporting social causes, and building relationships with community leaders and organizations.
The PR department is responsible for creating and executing communication strategies that promote the organization's values, goals, and accomplishments to the public, customers, employees, investors, and other key stakeholders. Public relations professionals are responsible for managing these relationships and ensuring that the organization's messages and values are effectively communicated to the public.

- Coordinating & Promoting Foreign Languages among students.
- Connecting Universities, Proposing & coordinating Foreign Collaborations (MoUs).
- Organizing International conferences, Seminars, distinguished lectures in association with departments.
- Participation in International Summits, conferences, and conclaves.
- Organizing International Education Awareness Sessions as IEAW and fair.
- Promoting & motivating students for International Internships/Summer Programs – Incoming as well as Outgoing.
- Accelerating Student & Faculty for Project Based Learning (PBL) and Exchange Programs.
- Promoting & Pursuing Summer/Winter courses in other countries.
