The Training Division - CRPC is the strategic team at the KIET Group of Institutions, dedicated to structuring the professional success of our students across all academic programs (B.Tech, MBA, MCA, B.Pharm, M.Pharm). Our Strategic Competency Verticals

We deliver targeted training through three core verticals designed for holistic professional development:

  • Soft Skills : Mastering corporate communication, leadership dynamics, and interview strategies. We cultivate the professional etiquette and collaborative skills essential for thriving in modern, team-based work environments.
  • Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning (QA&LR) : Enhancing critical thinking, data-driven problem-solving, and numerical acuity required to excel in the rigorous analytical assessments used by top recruiters.
  • Verbal Ability (VA) : Building superior language proficiency, including refined grammar, powerful vocabulary, and advanced reading comprehension, to give students a definitive competitive edge in all written and verbal evaluations.
  • Expert-Led Mentorship : The Training Division - CRPC is driven by a team of 9 seasoned professionals, led by an accomplished Head, possessing a median of 15 years in combined industry and academic experience. Training

The Training Division - CRPC has three verticals of training: Soft Skills, Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.

SOFT SKILLS

In today's rapidly evolving job market, possessing strong soft skills is crucial for undergraduate and postgraduate students to gain a competitive edge and enhance their employability. While technical expertise remains important, employers increasingly seek candidates with well-developed communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem- solving abilities.

Importance of Soft Skills in Employability

Developing soft skills significantly aids students in transitioning from academic to professional environments. These skills improve communication through clear articulation and active listening, promote teamwork and collaboration for enhanced productivity and innovation, and boost problem-solving abilities by enabling critical thinking. Furthermore, soft skills cultivate adaptability, allowing students to thrive amidst changing industry trends, and demonstrate leadership and initiative, qualities highly valued by recruiters. By systematically developing these competencies, students become more appealing to potential employers, thus increasing their career readiness.

Scope of Soft Skills Training

The scope of soft skills training is comprehensive, covering a wide array of competencies essential for professional success. This includes effective communication (verbal, non- verbal, and written), interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, leadership and team management, time management and organizational skills, critical thinking and analytical skills, and adaptability and resilience. This holistic approach ensures students are equipped with both academic knowledge and the necessary interpersonal and intrapersonal skills to excel in diverse work environments.

Methodology of Soft Skills Training

Effective soft skills training involves a strategic blend of methods tailored to student needs. This includes curriculum integration, where soft skills modules are embedded within academic courses; workshops and seminars that utilize interactive sessions, role-plays, and simulations; and experiential learning through activities like group projects, internships, and community service. Additionally, mentoring and coaching provide personalized feedback, while e-learning and digital modules offer flexible online resources. Regular assessment and feedback are also crucial for monitoring progress and identifying areas for improvement. This multi-faceted approach creates an environment conducive to developing soft skills that directly enhance employability and professional prospects.

APTITUDE

Aptitude forms the backbone of every competitive assessment be it campus placements, government exams, or higher education entrance tests. Our Aptitude Training Program is meticulously designed to build strong problem-solving abilities across three core areas:
Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and Data Interpretation.

    Over the years, we have successfully conducted Summer and Winter Boot Camps along with Company-Specific Aptitude Bootcamps tailored to the hiring patterns of top recruiters. These specialized sessions include:
  • Gamified Aptitude for Capgemini
  • Statistics-based Aptitude for TCS
  • Number Puzzles & Cryptarithmetics for Infosys
  • Flowchart-based Questions for Accenture
  • Critical and Non-Verbal Reasoning for high-stakes assessments
  • Abstract Reasoning

Our training is comprehensive, covering both basic to advanced topics and also focusing on High-Level Package Aptitude for premium placement opportunities. The sessions are practice-intensive, with real-time problem-solving and test simulation strategies.
Importantly, our Aptitude Program is not limited to placement preparation. It is equally beneficial for students preparing for CAT, GRE, GATE, and competitive government exams like UPSC, SSC, Banking, and Railways. Aptitude enhances critical thinking and opens the mind to structured problem-solving essential skills for any future-ready individual.

VERBAL ABILITY

Verbal ability sessions are an integral part of the Placement Training Program. These sessions aim to prepare students for campus placement drives, where Verbal Ability forms a significant part of aptitude tests conducted by leading recruiters such as TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. Additionally, they help students gain confidence in expressing ideas effectively during group discussions, interviews, and workplace interactions.

In today's competitive environment, engineers are expected to possess not only technical expertise but also the ability to articulate their thoughts clearly in both written and spoken formats. Strong verbal skills also make students globally competent, improving their chances of success in international roles and higher education pursuits.

The scope of the Verbal Ability module includes grammar and usage, vocabulary development, reading comprehension, sentence correction, para-jumbles, one-word substitutions, idioms and phrases, as well as writing skills.

The methodology adopted for delivering these sessions includes a diagnostic test to assess the student's initial level, followed by interactive lectures that integrate theory with real- time practice. Students are engaged through worksheets, quizzes, group activities, games on VA and mock tests that mirror actual placement exams.

Technology-enabled tools are also used to make learning more effective and personalized. Regular feedback and individual performance analysis further ensure targeted improvement.
The inclusion of industry-relevant questions and company-specific verbal patterns makes the training highly practical and outcome-oriented.
