About
AeroClub KIET is the official student-led aerospace and innovation club of KIET deemed to be University, bringing together passionate engineers, researchers, and innovators to explore the future of aviation, intelligent systems, and applied sciences. We believe that great engineering is built on strong fundamentals, interdisciplinary collaboration, and hands-on innovation.
At AeroClub KIET, we go beyond classrooms by transforming ideas into working prototypes through research, innovation, and collaboration. Whether it's building an aircraft, developing autonomous systems, or strengthening engineering fundamentals, we provide an ecosystem where students learn, create, and lead. Our mission is simple: to nurture future aerospace engineers, AI innovators, and problem solvers capable of shaping the technologies of tomorrow.
Our club is organized into three specialized wings:
- Aerospace & UAV Wing – Focused on aircraft design, aeromodelling, UAVs, VTOL systems, avionics, propulsion, flight control, and autonomous aerial platforms. Members design, build, test, and optimize next-generation aerospace systems while participating in national competitions, workshops, and research projects.
- AI & Intelligent Systems Wing – Dedicated to developing machine learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision, robotics, and autonomous solutions for real-world engineering challenges. From intelligent drones and perception systems to data-driven research and embedded AI, this wing bridges software with aerospace innovation.
- Applied Sciences Wing – The foundation of every engineering discipline. This wing emphasizes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and core engineering principles through experiments, simulations, technical discussions, and research, enabling members to understand the science behind modern technologies.
