Admission to Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Diploma programmes at KIET Deemed to be University, Ghaziabad is conducted through a transparent and structured process in accordance with the guidelines of statutory bodies such as University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Admissions are carried out through the official online admission portal of the University.
1. Admission Process
Step 1: Online Registration
Applicants must register through the official admission portal of the university by providing a valid email ID and mobile number.
Step 2: Login Credentials Generation
After registration:
- A Login ID and Password are generated automatically.
- These credentials are sent to the registered email ID and mobile number.
- Applicants must use these credentials to access the admission portal.
Step 3: Application Form Submission
Applicants must complete the online application form by providing:
- Personal details
- Communication address
- Academic qualifications
- Entrance examination scores
- Subject-wise academic details
Step 4: Upload Required Documents
Candidates must upload the following documents:
- Passport-size photograph
- Signature
- Aadhaar card (for identity verification)
- Class X and XII mark sheets
- Graduation mark sheets (for PG programmes)
- Entrance examination scorecard (if applicable)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
Step 5: Application Fee Payment
Applicants must pay the non-refundable application fee of ₹500 + applicable taxes through:
- UPI
- Net Banking
- Debit/Credit Card
After payment, a system-generated receipt will be available for download.
2. Application Verification
All submitted applications are verified by the Admission Department and Office of the Registrar. Verification includes checking:
- Academic certificates
- Entrance examination scores
- Identity documents
Applications with incorrect or incomplete information may be rejected.
3. Merit Evaluation & Shortlisting
Candidates are shortlisted based on:
- Entrance examination scores such as
- Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main)
- KIET Entrance Examination (KEE)
- Common Admission Test (CAT)
- Management Aptitude Test (MAT)
- Common Management Admission Test (CMAT)
- Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT)
- Common University Entrance Test (CUET)
- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)
- Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT)
OR
- Qualifying examination merit, depending on the programme.
4. Seat Offer
Eligible candidates will receive a Seat Offer through the admission portal. The candidate will be notified via email and through the admission dashboard.
5. Provisional Admission & Seat Booking
To confirm the offered seat, candidates must:
- Accept the admission offer through the ERP portal.
- Pay the Seat Booking Amount of ₹50,000.
Once payment is completed:
- A Provisional Admission Letter is generated.
- The student dashboard is activated in the ERP system.
If the candidate does not respond within 7 days, the offer will automatically expire.
6. Completion of Provisional Admission
After seat booking:
- Students must complete the Provisional Admission Form.
- Remaining admission requirements and fee payment options become available on the portal.
7. Final Admission Confirmation
Admission will be confirmed only after:
- Payment of the first-year programme fee
- Successful document verification
- Approval by the competent university authority
8. Programme-Wise Eligibility
B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology):
- 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Valid score in Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) or Common University Entrance Test CUET(UG) or KIET Entrance Examination (KEE)
Selection Process:
- Admission based on JEE Main rank / CUET(UG) Score/ KEE Score / qualifying examination merit as per university policy.
Duration:
- 4 Years
B.Pharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy):
- 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
- Valid score in CUET (UG) or merit in the qualifying examination.
Selection Process:
- Admission based on CUET score or merit.
Duration:
- 4 Years
D.Pharm (Diploma in Pharmacy):
Eligibility:
- 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics.
Selection Process:
- Admission based on qualifying examination merit or state-level entrance examination (if applicable).
Duration:
- 2 Years
MBA (Master of Business Administration):
Eligibility:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
