Student Satisfaction Survey

The Student Satisfaction Survey (SSS), as mandated by NAAC, serves as a key quality assurance tool to gauge students’ perception of teaching-learning processes, academic support, and institutional infrastructure. It helps in identifying strengths and areas needing improvement, thus enabling institutions to enhance the overall educational experience. At our institution, this survey is institutionalized and conducted every semester to collect structured feedback from students through the ERP portal.

Only students with more than 60% attendance are eligible to submit their feedback. The survey includes parameters such as course delivery, faculty preparedness, student engagement, infrastructural adequacy, and learning resources. Feedback collected is analyzed at multiple levels, especially by the Office of Director Academics, and results are used for academic and infrastructural development.

In addition to the ERP-based survey, feedback is also gathered through class representative meetings to address real-time student concerns. The institution has adopted a robust Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) policy: if any faculty member receives an average feedback score below 6.5, the Registrar initiates CAPA and forwards it to the Director (Academics), who collaborates with respective Deans to implement a faculty improvement plan. This includes targeted training and counseling sessions to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Feedback is also taken regularly regarding general student facilities, such as mess, canteen, transportation, hygiene, cleanliness, library services, and sports amenities. These inputs help in ensuring a holistic and student-centric learning environment. Issues of immediate or urgent nature are promptly escalated and resolved by concerned authorities. Remarks from surveys are shared with respective departments for further action.
