The Innovation Center at KIET hosts a thriving ecosystem of clubs and technical groups in AI/ML, AR/VR, Drone Tech, CAD Design, and Rapid Prototyping. Students across disciplines are mentored to build, present, and scale their ideas into tangible outcomes, encouraging interdepartmental collaboration and innovation-led growth.
Value-Added Courses: Bridging Academia and Industry
In line with its autonomous status, KIET offers a wide range of Value-Added Courses (VACs) that are designed, reviewed, and updated by internal academic boards in consultation with industry experts. These courses equip students with emerging skill sets and certifications that complement their degree programs.

KIET Innovation and Startup Policy
Driving an Entrepreneurial Culture in Campus
KIET's Innovation and Startup Policy, developed in alignment with the National Innovation and Startup Policy (NISP) 2019, provides a structured framework for nurturing student and faculty-led startups, IP creation, and entrepreneurship development.
